Basic Executive Assistant Duties

General Description:

The main responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to organize District Projects (DP). Normally, there is one DP per month.

Organizing projects includes the following duties:
Finding possible projects
Choosing projects suited for the divisional theme
Maintaining contact with specific volunteer coordinators
Notifying the LTG, and Presidents of participating high schools via telephone and e-mail.
Attending the actual event.

The position of Executive Assistant requires a lot of commitment. Key Club must be one of the highest priorities in your life.

bullet

Must be able to commit on the average 2 hours a week, 4 to 6 hours a week on peak times (this includes time spent on attending the actual project).

Must be able to find appropriate volunteer projects.
Note: District Projects must be able to accommodate a fairly large number of volunteers, since there is going to be at least a couple of high schools involved.

Must be able to converse easily with adult volunteer coordinators.

bullet

Must be able to frequently inform and update the LTG and other club presidents about the planned district projects.

bullet

Must be able to do other jobs unrelated to district projects.
This includes, for example, helping to organize such things as Lock-Ins, Key Club vs. Kiwanis matches, and other special events.

Must be able to attend all meetings planned by the Lieutenant Governor. This includes all Divisional Council Meetings (DCMs), President’s Council Meetings (PCMs), Special Event meetings, and other gatherings.
